Intro to the new year
So life has been wonderful lately! I don't know why we haven't posted, but we just never did. Christmas was wonderful, although being sick wasn't the greatest. School has started back up again and we're going to stay caught up this semester, so far so good! Weston is doing great! Meanwhile, I've been so excited/nervous (mostly excited with a good dose of nervousness because this is a completely new ball field and I go in spurts wondering if there's really any way I can do it or if I should just give up and do normal life projects like sewing up my pants or something and leave the house the way it is)... ok back to what I was saying... I've been so excited that last night I woke up at 3:45 and despite laying in bed and trying I couldn't go back to sleep. I just kept thinking of different things and wondering how to do things, etc. So, I'm going to tackle insulation. While trying to figure out how to take the cabinet out of the kitchen and wondering why it's literally a refrigerator in there and why there's a cold breeze from under the sink I discovered that there's no insulation in our walls. So... we're going to try to remedy that along with adding some to the attic. I'll explain more later, but I thought I should post.

House projects are so fun...better than sewing!
ReplyDeleteoh my heck you guys are so funny. I'm glad you are so enthusiastic about "re-making" your home (it's like home-making right?). We are going to help my dad finish a room so Bradley has his own room here in a month or so and lets be honest I'm dreading it. But mostly we are just putting up sheet rock and finishing things up. We will see how that goes. I hope your insulating goes well!!!
